Silly pics

Our afternoon routine

When we get home in the afternoon, you would think Maddie would like to play outside, go for a walk, play with DJ. No, she goes straight to her room and puts on her shiny red shoes (you know, they are so practical and they go with everything). She has gotten mad at me for not letting her sleep in them. My mom and I took her to a shoe store a few weeks ago, and when we walked in, she screamed "Oh wow! Shoes!"

Surgery!

I fully expected the ENT to tell us that Maddie's ears looked good and he would hold off on ear tubes since the weather is turning warm. Was I wrong! She has fluid in both ears, and one still has a bad infection. She will get the tubes on the 29th, just 3 weeks before we meet her baby brother. I know it is a routine surgery, but she is my baby, and the anesthesia scares me. Please keep her in your prayers! She had her 1st lollipop at the doctor's office.

The Zoo

We went to the zoo last weekend with some friends. It was a little chilly outside, but we had a lot of fun. Here is a pic of Maddie, Landon, and Bryson.
Maddie wouldn't touch any of the animals in the petting zoo.
This little lady is in desperate need of a makeover!

The carousel wasn't much of a hit, either. She wanted to ride the giraffe, not the lion. I really don't think it would have made a difference.

The kids loved the toddler jumping pad. Considering they completely missed their naps, they behaved very well on our outing.

A Black Eye

We aren't really sure how Maddie got a shiner. She participated in a tumbling class at preschool on Thursday, so I am guessing it came from that. She isn't bothered by it. What she is bothered by is me trying to take a picture of it. She is busy calling Mamaw and Papaw on her Tinkerbelle phone.
