1st Haircut!!

Marty and I took off of work on his and Maddie's actual birthday. We had family pictures made, then we took Maddie Grace for her first haircut. They didn't take off much. Maddie thought she was big stuff sitting in the chair, and she grinned the whole time. She played peek-a-boo with the cape. She had everyone laughing.

Presents

Maddie is a little too young to understand opening presents. She wanted to be on the move, so all the other kids opened her gifts for her.


The first present Maddie opened was a Curious George toy. That was enough excitement for her. She grabbed it and took off!

Asleep before we pulled out of the parking lot! Cousin Hailey had a great time!

Cake Time

Maddie Grace has never had sweets, other than one popcicle. We weren't sure she would like her cake...

Daddy followed suit with his birthday cake! All of the children thought it was hilarious.
She shared a bite with mommy before I took it away from her. She ate so much we all thought she would be sick!

Maddie Grace is 1!!

We had the best time at Maddie Grace's 1st birthday party. We held it at a local "baby gym". The kids could run wild, and they had a blast. They especially loved the parachute and the bubbles. Maddie Grace kept up with all of her older friends. She was in to everything!

Who had more fun...the kids or the parents?

1st Spaghetti Supper

We are trying to teach her good eating habits. You can see that our efforts are paying off.

Maddie fell and busted her mouth. We couldn't get her to keep ice on it, so she got to have a popcicle! Check out her 1st blue mouth.

Our life has changed forever...

Maddie Grace started walking on the 4th of July. Marty and I have not sat down since. She is practically running now. She loves to chase DJ and look out the window. This 1st picture is Maddie getting excited when music was turned on. She love to dance!

We took her to a park a last week, and Marty couldn't resist running the stroller through the water. They were soaked, but you can see how excited that Maddie was. She almost came out of her stroller.
