At the ballpark...

Daddy thought it would be funny to put the black stuff on Maddie Grace when I wasn't looking.

Giving kisses

Maddie fell and busted her mouth. We couldn't get her to keep ice on it, so she got to have a popcicle! Check out her 1st blue mouth.

Our life has changed forever...

Maddie Grace started walking on the 4th of July. Marty and I have not sat down since. She is practically running now. She loves to chase DJ and look out the window. This 1st picture is Maddie getting excited when music was turned on. She love to dance!

We took her to a park a last week, and Marty couldn't resist running the stroller through the water. They were soaked, but you can see how excited that Maddie was. She almost came out of her stroller.

Daddy's girl (so he says)

Climbing up the stairs.

Happy Father's Day!

Maddie's picture

My parents met an artist at the resort, and he drew a charicature of Maddie Grace. She drew a crowd as she sat for him, and she waved bye-bye to everyone watching her.

The train ride

By the way, Maddie Grace started standing on her own this week.

We took a train ride to Ft. Worth. The train was built in the 1920s.
Daddy found a stowaway.

How-dee!

At the stockyard, we saw a cattle drive, met real cowboys, and rode a long horn named Big Jake.

She had an exciting day.

Downtown Grapevine

We went to Historic Grapevine, and watched glass blowers make pendant light shades.

Maddie Grace by the train.

The Budweiser Clydesdales were in town for the festival. One stuck his tongue out at us.

Chester was huge! When I stood next to him, the top of my head was even with the top of his back.

We had a great evening with friends at dinner. Marty and Saralu on the dance floor.

Johnny Lee provided entertainment for the evening (he wrote/recorded the song "lookin for love in all the wrong places").

More swimming

Monday...at the ranch

We went to Southfork Ranch on Monday (from the TV show Dallas). It was interesting to see the house was much smaller than it looked on TV.

Mom in the great room.
The long driveway.

This pony nibbled on Maddie's foot.
