The Dentist

I thought it would be fun to take the kids to the dentist for the 1st time. I was half right and half wrong. I'm sure you can guess which half was wrong! Marty and I chose a local children's office, and it was full of toys and had it's own arcade. The kids loved it.

The kids were in rooms across from each other. They both had their teeth cleaned, but we had to wait a bit for the dentist. Maddie and I could hear Preston crying in his room, and soon after, Daddy thought he and I should trade. Preston had enough. By the time we left, he was laying on the floor kicking his legs. So I have two learnings to share with you:

1) Never judge the parents when you see a kid having a tantrum in public. Your child will eventually do it.

2) When the dental office tells you that your child isn't really old enough to come, listen to them!!
