After we lost our Papa, we decided to take the kids on a vacation. We convinced my parents to come with us, and we had so much fun. We would go back tomorrow if we could.

Cracked

A friend of ours is getting ready to have a baby girl. Maddie and I have been talking about the baby in Mrs. Kim's tummy. Our last conversation went like this:

Maddie - "Mommy, I used to be in your tummy."
Me - "Yes, you did."
Maddie - "But then you cut me off. And you cracked me."
Me - "We cracked you?"
Maddie - "Yep. Then you woke me up. And now I'm here."

Oh, she makes us laugh. What funny things have your kids said?

We're still here!

We have had a really busy September. Thank you for all of your prayers as we grieve the loss of Marty's father. All of the cards and phone calls have meant so much to us.

We have had some fun times with the kids this month, and I can't wait to share them. But first, Marty and I got to do something we have always wanted to do...we went to the opening game for the Michigan Wolverines!!
